On 1 December 2020, the delegation of the Embassy of Vietnam in New Delhi headed by Counsellor Do Thanh Hai visited the Embassy of Laos. On behalf of HE. Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau and its member staff, Dr Do Thanh Hai offered warmest congratulations to the Government and Peoples of Laos and the Embassy of Laos in New Delhi on the occasion of the 45th National Day of Laos.
Dr Do Thanh Hai stressed the importance of the special relationship between the two countries which have been built up through the course of history and through common hardships of the struggle for independence. He also lauded the great achievements of Laos’ Government and Peoples in national defense and building over the last 45 years.
HE. Mr. Bounneme Chouanghom, Ambassador of Laos to India, expressed sincere thanks to the delegation. Attaching great significance to special solidarity between two neighbors, he stressed the need to cultivate the youth’s passion for such brotherhood. Ambassador Bounneme Chouanghom also thanked the support of Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau and the Embassy of Vietnam for the assistance to bring stranded Laotian citizens in India back to their home country amidst the severe Covid-19 pandemic./.
