On April 22, 2024, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai welcomed a delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Bac Ninh People’s Committee, during their visit to India and Nepal (April 21-28, 2024).
Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai placed in high regards the socio-economic development achievements of Bac Ninh province and the close relationship between Bac Ninh province and India. He shared the sentiments of India when Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar visited Bac Ninh city and attended the inauguration ceremony of the statue of Indian luminary Rabindranath Tagore and planted a commemorative tree at the International Friendship Park in October 2023. The ambassador expressed his hope that economic, trade, investment, and tourism cooperation between Bac Ninh province, India and Nepal will receive increasing attention and promotion.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung expressed his pleasure on his working visit in India and Nepal, believing that this is a good opportunity to promote the strengths, investment and business environment of Bac Ninh province, contributing to the promotion of relations between Vietnam and the two countries in the coming time.
