On October 27th, at the Embassy, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai met with Mr. Arun Kumar Garodia, chairman of the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of India.
At the meeting, the Ambassador briefed Mr. Garodia on Viet Nam’s economic development in recent years, and vision to 2030 and 2045 in accordance with the 13th Party Congress’s goals. Mr. Garodia also informed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai that the EEPC delegation to Viet Nam last September had achieved good results with the support of the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, the Embassy of Viet Nam in India, and domestic agencies. Therefore, EEPC plans to arrange another business delegation to Viet Nam to attend the Viet Nam International Exhibition on Industrial Machinery, Equipment, Materials and Products in Ho Chi Minh City (VINAMAC EXPO 2022), which will be organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City and Joint Stock Company Viet Nam Exhibition and Advertising Fair VIETFAIR at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center between November 2nd and November 5th.
EEPC wishes to encourage trade promotion activities between Viet Nam and India.
