Indo-Vietnam Solidarity Committee, West Bengal celebrates the 134th Birth Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh

The Indo-Vietnam Solidarity Committee, West Bengal, celebrated the 134th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh at his bust at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh Sarani and Jawaharlal Nehru Road by offering flowers and wreaths.

Speaking on their occasion, the president of the committee, Ms Kusum Jain, and vice president, Mr Prem Kapoor, remembered with reverence Uncle Ho’s commitment towards the people and felt that, under the present world scenario, we need to have committed leaders like President Ho Chi Minh.

Ho Chi Minh had a special attachment to Kolkata and its people. Youth member Arvind Kori spoke about Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary aspect, which inspired him too. Mr. Robin Deb, CPIM leader, spoke at length regarding Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and his testament.

On this occasion, floral tributes were paid on behalf of CPIM and the West Bengal Congress. Those who paid tribute were Mr Shahid Hussain Shahid, Mr Francis Ganapat, Md Seraj, Md Kalam, Pritam Prasad, Sanjeev Ram, Ayush Rana, Bhola Ram, Mr Kunal Bagchi, Mr Mrinal and others.
