On September 29, 2023, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai visited the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and had an exchange with Dr. Satinder Bhatia, Director of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, along with professors and students. Along with the Ambassador, Commercial Counselor and Officer in charge of Economic Affairs were present.
The two sides had open and cordial exchanges about the relationship between the two countries and solutions to provide more reasonable economic and trade between Vietnam and India. Trade between the two countries in 2022 reached 15 billion USD and is expected to continue to grow strongly with the development of the Vietnamese and Indian economies for many years to come.
