On the occasion of the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (19 May 1890 – 19 May 2026), the Indo-Vietnam Solidarity Committee (IVSC) in Kolkata organized a commemorative ceremony for President Ho Chi Minh on 19 May 2026 at the President Ho Chi Minh Bust situated at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh Sarani and Jawaharlal Nehru Road, alongside a seminar entitled “Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Viet Nam”
Held in a warm atmosphere of friendship and solidarity, the event reflected the profound respect and affection of the Committee’s members, as well as the Indian people, for President Ho Chi Minh, while reaffirming their strong commitment to further deepening the partnership and traditional friendship between Vietnam and India.
