On 16 December 2025, a working delegation of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly of Viet Nam, led by Mr. Tạ Đình Thi, Vice Chairman of the Committee, paid a visit to and held working discussions with the Embassy of Viet Nam in India.
Ambassador Nguyễn Thanh Hải briefed the delegation on the Embassy’s activities and achievements in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation in the host country. He highlighted efforts to leverage cooperation with India in its areas of technological strength, particularly innovation, digital transformation, and green transition. The Ambassador also informed the delegation of various technology promotion activities undertaken by the Embassy, including initiatives to connect innovative enterprises and start-ups.
Mr. Tạ Đình Thi, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, shared information on the Party’s and the State’s policies on science and technology development and the role of parliamentary cooperation in this field. He highly appreciated the Embassy’s activities in recent times and suggested that the Embassy continue to attach importance to and further promote science and technology diplomacy, meeting the needs of ministries, agencies, local authorities and domestic enterprises, and thereby contributing to national development in the new era.
