On 21 January 2026, at the Embassy of Viet Nam, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai held a fruitful discussion on people-to-people diplomacy and youth exchanges between Viet Nam and India with a delegation of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, led by Mr. Hoang Duc Nam. The meeting was attended by 12 Youth representatives from Viet Nam and the Vietnamese Student Association in India. The delegation is participating the Exchange programme in New Delhi (19–26 January) at the invitation of the Indian National Cadet Corps.
