On 22 January, India Ministry of External Affaires’ Deputy Chief of Protocol Gaurav Thakur handed over to Dr. Do Thanh Hai, Charge d’affaires of the Embassy of Vietnam the Note Verbale No. DII/464/08/2020(H) to convey the sanction of the Hon’ble President of India for the allotment of additional land measuring 299.40 sq meters to the Embassy of Vietnam.
With that allotment, the total area of the Embassy’s compound comes 3752 sq. mts. New buildings for the chancery and residences are being built on this land.
