INTRODUCTION
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India, a series of events and activities will be held throughout 2022 to honor and celebrate long-standing friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The Embassy of Vietnam in India (hereinafter referred to as the Embassy) is pleased to launch a logo design contest to select a single logo to be used for the above-mentioned activities and events. The contest is also an opportunity for the Vietnamese and Indian designers to show creativity and knowledge of Vietnam-India friendship.
CONTEST RULES
Eligible candidates: Vietnamese or India citizens; students or designers majoring in graphic design and visual arts; anyone who are able to design and are creative.
Award: The awards for the sole winner values VND 18,400,000 (Eighteen million four hundred thousand Vietnam Dong) or USD 800 (Eight hundred US dollars), and a certificate. The winner will bear all the fee for electronic payment if there is.
Jury: The winner will be selected by a jury consisting of 06 members: 03 representatives from the Embassy and 03 representatives from famous Indian and Vietnamese artists.
In addition, all entries will be posted on the Embassy’s Facebook page. The work with the most interactions will earn bonus points.
Artistic criteria: The logo for the contest must show the characteristics of Vietnam and India relationship, easily recognizable as a common symbol for 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India.
Technical Criteria: The logo for the contest must be suitable in terms of size, can be used for large and small print publications, as well as can be used for online documents. Candidates need to submit their logo in electronic version.
Intellectual Property
- All contestants are required to declare that their submissions are their own original work, have not been copied from others or from previous designs, including their own, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other persons or entities.
- The winning entry will become the sole property of the Embassy and will be used by the Embassy.
- The Embassy shall have the right to adapt, edit, modify, or otherwise use the winning submission in part or in its entirety in whatever manner it deems appropriate.
How to submit entries:
Entries can be sent to office@vietnamembassydelhi.in with the author’s biography and a description. The Embassy will send confirmation by email upon receipt of the entry.
Deadline for submission of entries:
October 30, 2021.
