On January 1, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai paid a visit to Aieraa Overseas, a company specializing in sending Indian students to study at medical schools in Vietnam. The Ambassador congratulated the company’s initial success in 2022 when it brought 100 Indian students to Vietnam for the first time to study undergraduate medical training.
The Ambassador highly appreciated Aieraa’s serious investment and commitment to devote all its resources to the development of Vietnamese study abroad destinations. He suggested that Aieraa be proactive, closely coordinate with partner universities in Vietnam and comply with enrollment regulations to ensure quality. Also, the company was urged to provide the best experience for students both in terms of specialized knowledge and cultural environment.
The success of bringing Indian students to undergraduate medical training in Vietnam in 2022 is a breakthrough in bilateral education and training relations, given that mostly Vietnamese students have been sent to India but not vice versa. This not only brings positive impacts on the economy, exports of on-site services but also on people-to-people diplomatic relations. Additionally, this creates bonding opportunities for the young generation of Indians and Vietnamese as well as promotes overall Vietnam’s image with India.
