On 12 November, Vietnamese Ambassador to India Pham Sanh Chau has a courtesy call on Chief of the Naval Staff of India Karambir Singh on the occasion of Diwali celebration. The two sides have an exchange on naval and maritime cooperation between India and Vietnam.
Admiral K. Singh also congratulated Vietnam on successful fight agains Covid-19 pandemic and strong economic performance despite the global economic turmoil. He pledged strong cooperation and collaboration between the two navies for the sake of peace, security and rules-based order across the Indo-Pacific region.
